FooSales follows the following principles in order to protect your privacy:
• We do not collect more information than is necessary;
• We do not use your data for purposes other than those specified;
• We do not keep your data if it is no longer needed;
• We do not spread your data to third parties without your consent.

When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

FooSales will not rent or sell potentially personally-identifying and personally-identifying information to anyone. Other than to its employees and contractors, as described above, FooSales discloses potentially personally-identifying and personally-identifying information only in response to a subpoena, court order or other governmental request, or when FooSales believes in good faith that disclosure is reasonably necessary to protect the property or rights of FooSales, third parties or the public at large.

If you are a FooSales customer and have opted in to receive news and updates from us, FooSales may occasionally send you an email to tell you about new features, solicit your feedback, or just keep you up to date with what’s going on with FooSales and our products. If you create a FooSales account, we will store your full name, website store URL, and email address which we need in order to provide you with the service. The account details and IP address that we collect from you are stored on our secure servers in Germany by our hosting provider Xneelo.

We generally store information about you for as long as we need the information for the purposes for which we collect and use it, and we are not legally required to continue to keep it.


For users that register on our website, we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

We currently retain personal data for orders placed on this website for the following amount of time:
• Inactive accounts: 24 months
• Active accounts: Indefinitely

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

We use a cloud-based service called MailChimp to send out promotional emails and product updates to customers who have opted-in to our mailing list. We use a cloud-based service called Freshdesk as our contact and support system. Personal information including full name, email address, order number and message body are passed to the Freshdesk system every time a customer or user sends us a support query or general email. If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.


We restrict access to the information you provide us to as few people as possible.

Currently, only permanent support team members have access to basic order information such as full name, purchase history, email address and store URL in order to provide customer support.

Only administrators and senior team members have access to more detailed order information such as billing address and contact numbers which may be required to issue refunds and resolve problems if they are escalated.
