The FooSales Story

How did it start?

The idea for FooSales was born in 2016. While discussing new product ideas, we identified an opportunity to develop an app based Point of Sales system built natively for WooCommerce.

We soon discovered that there was a reason that it had not been done before as it was a huge undertaking! We took on this monumental challenge (with many unique setbacks along the way) and FooSales finally launched in 2018. Within a short period of time, FooSales has grown significantly and is now actively used by thousands of customers around the world.

Who are we?

We started life as a digital agency called Grenade that developed web and mobile applications for blue chip companies and also created a very popular event and ticketing solution for WooCommerce called FooEvents.

The FooSales team consists of talented developers, designers, customer support and marketing experts based in North America and South Africa who are relentless in building and supporting high quality products that are not only user-friendly but also cost effective.

Our team was forged in the trenches of the highly competitive agency world which features tight, often unreasonable deadlines and requires a lot of creative problem solving and nerves of steel to survive. These attributes are evident in our experience, knowledge, dedication and premium customer support.
