Accept card payments with Square
WooCommerce and Square are popular platforms but they haven’t historically played well together. Until now. FooSales leverages the strengths of both platforms and seamlessly bridges the gap between selling online and in-person through our unique Square integration.
What payment methods does FooSales support?
FooSales currently offers a direct integration with Square Terminal and Square Readers (tablet apps only) to process payments. Square supports EMV chip cards, magnetic stripe cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Samsung Pay and NFC. If you don’t use Square, card payments can be manually processed using any third-party card reader of your choice and set to “Card Payment” at checkout. The payment type can also be set to Cash, Direct Bank Transfer, Check, Cash on Delivery and Other Payment Method.
Refer to the Square Payment Integration section to learn more.
How exactly does the Square integration work?
Order information is sent to the Square POS app at checkout, and once the payment is completed successfully, the customer is returned to the FooSales app where the order is automatically completed. Square does all the heavy lifting so you don’t need to worry about privacy or security.
How much does the Square integration cost?
Can I use WooCommerce coupons?
FooSales integrates with the standard WooCommerce coupons functionality. When completing an order, coupons can be applied to the order which will result in the cart being adjusted by the coupon amount.
Can I select existing online customers in FooSales?
When processing an order at checkout, you can select an existing online customer or create a new customer. One of the many benefits of using FooSales is that it seamlessly bridges your online and in-person customer data.
