Other Square for WooCommerce integrations have a major design flaw — they require a two-way sync of your entire WooCommerce store with Square POS. A very common problem with this is that if anything goes wrong and your data is not synced correctly, your site breaks. There is also an increased risk of corrupt or missing data with this approach.

No, the Square Manual Payment option does not require a Square reader and will work in any country where Square is available.
The FooSales iPad and Android tablet apps support Square Terminal, Reader for magstripe and Reader for contactless and chip. Square Stand is only supported in the FooSales iPad app. The FooSales web app currently only supports Square Terminal and Square manual payments.
Note: Square Register is not compatible with any of the FooSales apps.
Square supports EMV chip cards, magnetic stripe cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Samsung Pay and NFC.
Yes, if you do not have a Square reader or you need to take orders over the phone, you can enter the customer’s card details manually at checkout to securely process payments. Select Square Manual Payment as the payment method at checkout.
