We are thrilled to announce that the FooSales web version now fully integrates with the WooCommerce Product Add-Ons plugin, giving you the same advanced options in-store as online.Â
Most products aren’t one-size-fits-all. A pizza can have options for crust, sauce, toppings, and how it’s baked. A coffee order might specify size, milk type, extra shots, syrups, and temperature. Even retailers selling bikes, scooters, trophies, or furniture need to capture detailed choices at checkout.
The WooCommerce Product Add-Ons plugin makes it easy to handle this level of detail when selling online, and now, thanks to this new integration, you can also offer custom product add-ons when selling in person with FooSales.
WooCommerce Product Add-ons in FooSales POS
With FooSales and WooCommerce Product Add-ons, every customization option you’ve set up online now appears automatically in your POS. Whether it’s pizza toppings, coffee syrups, or engraving details, staff can capture them directly at checkout—no duplication, no extra setup.
Please note: This integration is currently only available in the built-in and hosted FooSales web versions, and will soon also be available in both the FooSales iPad and Android tablet apps.
Manage Online and In-Store Orders
The benefits go beyond in-person sales. When customers place an order online that includes Product Add-on fields—say, a takeout pizza with gluten-free crust, or a trophy with custom engraving—those same details flow straight into FooSales.
Staff can view and manage the order in FooSales, use fulfillment features to track progress, and use order alerts to make sure nothing slips through the cracks. This makes FooSales ideal for:
Takeout and delivery restaurants that need to capture online orders and manage them alongside walk-ins.
Print and engraving shops that receive detailed customization requests online and fulfill them in-store.
Retailers who want a unified workflow for both web and in-person orders without juggling separate systems.
No matter where the order starts, it ends up in the same place—ready to be fulfilled accurately and efficiently.
Another key benefit is that FooSales can print receipts that include every product add-on detail. This makes it ideal for kitchens, assembly teams, or workshop floors where staff need a clear, itemized breakdown of the order. Nothing gets lost in translation — whether it’s a complex pizza, a personalized gift, or a custom-built bike, the printed slip contains everything needed for accurate preparation and fulfillment.
