The latest FooSales update includes two new powerful third-party POS integrations, along with revamped FooSales pricing plans.
FooSales has an excellent reputation as a stable and reliable point-of-sale (POS) system for WooCommerce. It integrates seamlessly with WooCommerce and perfectly leverages core WooCommerce features to help bring your online store into physical spaces such as shops, popup stands, kiosks, and restaurants. Building on this foundation, we’ve started expanding the capabilities of FooSales by integrating with more third-party plugins and services. This opens FooSales up to a range of new use cases and helps to power your business more effectively while streamlining your operations. In line with this new focus on third-party integrations, we’ve revamped our pricing plans which, believe it or not, offer far more value for the same price.
Advanced FooEvents Integration
For a quite some time, the FooSales apps have seamlessly supported the FooEvents for WooCommerce core plugin. This included the ability to generate and email tickets for single-day and multi-day events, as well as capture custom attendee fields. The new advanced integration adds additional support that fully leverages all the capabilities of FooEvents.
Ticket and Stationery Printing
The latest release adds the ability to print tickets and stationery directly from FooSales. When an order is submitted, event tickets are generated and can be printed directly from FooSales using the ticket theme selected for each event product. On the Orders screen, you can choose to print the order receipt, the order tickets, or the stationery if it has been set up.
Seating and Bookings Support
In FooSales, when adding a product to the cart that is a FooEvents seating event, you will be able to specify which seat row and number should be reserved for each attendee. For a FooEvents event with bookable slots, you can select the date and slot for the booking.
These advanced FooEvents features are included in the new FooSales Plus plan, along with many other POS integrations.
WooCommerce Product Add-ons Integration
We’ve also rolled out the first phase of our integration with the popular WooCommerce Product Add-ons plugin. This plugin allows your customers to personalize products while shopping on your online store, reducing follow-up email requests by letting them specify exactly what they need before checkout. It’s perfect for adding things like personal engraving, extra toppings to a food order, or adding extras to a booking.
The first phase of our WooCommerce Product Add-ons integration makes it possible to accept online orders that include add-on fields and to view those details in FooSales. This functionality is ideal for managing order fulfilment and when used with order alerts, is a powerful tool for virtual restaurants and take-out services that accept online orders. The next phase will include the ability to capture add-on fields when completing a new order in FooSales, so keep an eye out for that update!
These enhanced POS integrations are designed to work flawlessly across all platforms—including web, iOS, and Android tablet apps—ensuring a consistent and intuitive experience no matter where you manage your operations. Access to the WooCommerce Product Add-ons integration is included in the FooSales Plus plan.
Introducing the FooSales Core and FooSales Plus Plans
To make it easier to take advantage of our growing offering of third-party integrations, we’ve harmonized our single domain, multi-domain, and individual add-on plans with two simple plans: FooSales Core and FooSales Plus.
The FooSales Core plan, which is effectively the same as the original FooSales Annual plan, is perfect for stores that require full integration with WooCommerce and basic POS features.
It includes the following:
- Up to 3 users or devices
- Full integration with WooCommerce
- All the standard point of sale features
- Unlimited orders, products and customers
- Access to all the FooSales POS apps (web, iPad and Android tablet)
- Access to updates and email support
The FooSales Plus plan includes everything in the Core plan, plus all FooSales third-party POS integrations!
For what is essentially the same price as the FooSales Core plan with only one add-on, it includes all of the following POS integrations with more features to follow:
We’ve also revamped the way that plans are linked to WooCommerce stores in your FooSales Account.
If you have more than one store, or you are a freelancer or agency, you can now purchase multiple individual single-domain plans and link each one to a different store. This gives you more granular control over your plans and allows you to scale your network of sites with FooSales.
