Stripe customers in the United States can now also use the new Stripe Reader M2 to securely process payments in the FooSales tablet apps (requires FooSales WordPress plugin 1.25.1+ AND FooSales iPad or FooSales Android tablet app 2.7.3+).
The Stripe Reader M2 is a battery-powered, mobile card reader that accepts EMV chip, contactless, and swipe payments. This is Stripe’s first branded card reader which combines simplicity, mobility and an attractive price point which is sure to be a hit with many customers and we really hope that Stripe starts selling this reader in more countries in the coming months!
This latest release completes our integration with Stripe Terminal as all card readers currently offered by Stripe are now supported in FooSales (BBPOS WisePOS™ E, BBPOS Chipper™ 2X BT, BBPOS WisePad™ 3, Stripe Reader M2 and Verifone P400).
